InsideTheNinety LLC: Terms of Use
Last Updated: August 5, 2026
Welcome to InsideTheNinety, operated by InsideTheNinety LLC ("InsideTheNinety," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile experiences, social channels, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.
Version 2026-08-05. When you submit content, we record which version of these Terms was in force at that moment, so that what you agreed to stays clear even after this page changes.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to submit content to the Services. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, and we will ask for their email address when you upload so that we can confirm it.
We do not knowingly accept submissions from anyone under 13. If you are under 13, ask a parent, guardian, or coach to send us your clip instead.
2. Accounts
The Services do not currently offer user accounts. You can browse and submit content without registering. If we add accounts later, we will update these Terms before doing so.
3. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content (defined below), all content and materials on the Services, including text, graphics, logos, images, designs, and trademarks, are owned by InsideTheNinety LLC or used under license and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Services without our prior written consent, except as expressly allowed by these Terms or applicable law.
School names, logos, and marks belong to their respective institutions and appear on the Services to identify the schools and teams we cover. Their use does not imply affiliation with, or endorsement by, those institutions or the CIF.
4. User-Generated Content
The Services allow you to upload, submit, or otherwise provide photos, videos, stories, commentary, and other materials ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you agree to the following.
4.1 Your Representations and Warranties
You confirm that:
- You shot this yourself, or you have permission from whoever did.
- Everyone identifiable in it is comfortable with it being published. If anyone in it is under 18, you have permission from a parent, guardian, coach, or under your school or team's policy.
- It does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Your User Content complies with these Terms and applicable law.
4.2 The License You Grant Us
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us permission to publish it as part of our coverage.
What you grant us
A non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and edit your submission (including cropping, trimming, colour correction, and captioning) as part of our editorial coverage of high school soccer, on this site and on our own social channels.
What you keep
You keep ownership and copyright in your submission. Nothing here stops you from publishing, licensing, or selling it yourself, anywhere else, at any time.
What we will not do without asking you first
We will not use your submission in paid advertising, sponsored content, or merchandise, and we will not sublicense or sell it to a third party, without first obtaining your separate written permission. Where the submission shows an identifiable person, that permission also requires a release from that person, or from a parent or guardian if they are under 18.
Ending the licence
You may withdraw this licence at any time by contacting us. We will remove the submission from the site within a reasonable period. Copies already distributed on third-party platforms, and copies retained in archives or backups, may persist for a time after removal.
4.3 Attribution and Compensation
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, submitting User Content does not entitle you to payment. We credit contributors where we can, and if you give us your Instagram handle we will tag you when we use your material, but credit is not guaranteed and its absence is not a breach of these Terms.
4.4 Our Right to Remove or Edit User Content
We may, but are not obliged to, review, monitor, edit, or remove User Content at our discretion, including content we believe violates these Terms, our editorial standards, or applicable law.
4.5 Taking Content Down
Anyone shown in content on the Services, or their parent or guardian if they are under 18, can ask us to remove it. So can the person who submitted it. See remove my content for how, and for the timeframes we hold ourselves to.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to do any of the following:
- Upload or share content that you do not have the right to submit;
- Post content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate;
- Post content that identifies where a player lives, studies, or can be found outside of competition;
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services, including by introducing viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or networks connected to the Services;
- Use automated systems (such as bots or scrapers) to access the Services in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce in the same period.
6. Copyright Infringement
We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, our notice-and-takedown procedure, counter-notice procedure, and designated agent for copyright notices are set out on our copyright and DMCA page.
We will, in appropriate circumstances, refuse further submissions from contributors who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
7. Third-Party Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You access such sites at your own risk.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content will be accurate, complete, or reliable. Scores, schedules, standings, and rankings are compiled from public sources and from what we observe, and may contain errors. If you spot one, please tell us.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InsideTheNinety LLC and its officers, employees, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Services;
- Any conduct or content of any third party on or related to the Services;
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content;
- Any other matter relating to the Services.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InsideTheNinety LLC and its officers, employees, partners, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of another person or entity.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that may harm the Services, other users, or InsideTheNinety LLC.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date and the version number at the top of this page. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Changes do not apply retroactively to content you have already submitted: the license you granted is the one recorded against your submission at the time.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
14. Severability and Assignment
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, on notice to you.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and InsideTheNinety LLC regarding the Services, and replace any prior agreements between us on that subject.
